Tape a waste jam jar lid to a plastic lid, to keep summer flies out of drinks, or drinks hotter in colder weather.

Put your cutlery into a tin or Jar by the sink instead of into the wash up bowl. It keeps it all in one place, so you can wash it all together, or order it into the washing up machine. Saves losing it to under water at the bottom of the washing up bowl !
